520posts · Joined 2013. #8 · Jul 25, 2013 (Edited) I might try spinning the motor a few times with the drain plug out (first pull the spark plug wires) and the oil drained. it will pump out that 1/2 qt that is upin the motor and then 4 quarts of new oil will go in (put the spark plug wires back on ).. but still check at 3.5.
