In new Vegas, once I got to about the halfway point in lonesome road, I would take two steps, and it would freeze. With fallout 3, once I got to the end of broken steel, my game would crash immediately upon startup. I have up and went to PC. didn't even bother with skyrim. I basically only use my PS3 for MLB 12 the show now.

I should of stopped at Fallout 3, but I kept hoping Bethesda would of learned their lesson with each new game and fix the issues from the previous game. Guess I was wrong. Lesson learned: Never buy Bethesda games on PS3 again. On the plus side I got Fallout 3 and New Vegas dirt cheap during the Steam sale and Skyrim at 50% off.

Road Map. Thanks to Tigerlust for the great road map. Step 1 - Avengers Assemble. First off, it is strongly suggested you are level 25, or higher, when starting this DLC. Also, during this DLC you will need at least 75 in one of these skills: Explosives, Lock-pick, Repair, Science, Sneak or Speech. Head up the left stairs and run into the room past the poison. Loot the area, there is a [DEANS STASH] behind the sofa. Go out on the balcony and across to the other room and loot, then head down the stairs and head back to the large courtyard just before you went down the alley. Now follow the courtyard south. Unless there's something different in 4.84 that would let you play it. Weird though, never had a game not work on .iso external before, if that's the case. I'll report back once I transfer it to internal and give it a whirl. Damn, same thing (hangs on black screen). Nothing left but to update to 4.84 rebug.

Fallout 3 GOTY always ran fine for me. Fallout 3 runs pretty smooth on ps now but dear god fallout new Vegas was a fucking shit show. The fps dropping to like 1-2 fps and crashes upon crashes and some bugs. And without the ability to play dlc it’s pretty annoying.

This modpack for Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition provides the player with a cheat terminal in Doc's office at the beginning of the game that's right next to the vigor testing machine (to spend/configure SPECIAL skills). It also includes a "portable terminal" that allows the player to access the cheat terminal anywhere in the game.

I downloaded each as they came out and noticed if 3 or 4 dlcs are installed at once the framerate drops frequently. Turning off all the autosaves and always save to a new slot instead of overwriting seems to fix it, at least for awhile. Edit: Try putting your PS3 in recovery mode and use the Restore File System option.

You can delete the Game folder, which clears memory of all ash piles and items placed or dropped by you, just delete the file and stay in an isolated zone for 3 ingame days. It should make a big difference, i do it once per week of playing, and have had only 3 freezes which were a long time apart. Also, turning off auto save makes a HUGE
